• Drink iced green tea every day
Green tea has anti-inflammatory properties and it helps with redness and other symptoms of rosacea.
• Use sunscreen every day
I can’t stop talking about this. UV rays can get through clouds, windows and even curtains in your home and cause wrinkling and brown spots. Also, sunscreen prevents clogged pores from oxidising and turning into blackheads.
• Consider cutting out dairy
Dairy can cause acne and clogged pores. If you really can’t live without it, try to replace it with almond milk, coconut milk, vegan yogurt, etc.
• Watch out for ingredients
Research different ingredients and find out which ones are good and bad for your skin. If you notice that a products left a bad effect on your skin, write down it’s ingredients and see if any of them will react again in different product, so you can know which ingredients to avoid.
• Pay attention to your cleanser
Make sure you’re using a non-soap cleanser, and that it doesn’t have many harmful ingredients such as sodium lauryl sulfate, alcohol, parabens and fragrance.
• Don’t forget your neck and chest
Skin on these body parts can show more aging during time than face does, so don’t forget to put some moisturizer and sunscreen there as well.
• Double cleanse
Cleanse again with water based cleanser after removing makeup with oil based cleanser, you will be surprised by how much makeup was left on your face.
• Don’t dry your face with regular towel
There is so much bacteria on towel you’re using every day and it can be too harmful for the skin. It’s best to pat dry your face with paper wipes, but you can use baby towels as well, just replace one every day.
